Botox Cosmetic targets the muscles responsible for frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.
Years of repeated muscle contractions can lead to wrinkles and the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin.
By temporarily relaxing these muscles, Botox helps visibly smooth treated areas, revealing a refreshed, more youthful appearance.

You may start to notice subtle improvements within 3 to 5 days after your Botox injections, with the most noticeable results appearing between 7 and 14 days.
By the two-week mark, you can expect the full effects of your treatment to be visible, revealing a smoother and more refreshed appearance

All cosmetic injectable treatments done at Luxe and Lit Medical Aesthetics are designed to look natural and complement your unique anatomy.
You will look like yourself only with less noticeable lines and areas of volume loss.
-
If you are under the age of 18, are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection or serious illness you should not be receiving any cosmetic injectables.
Also if you are planning to have dental work, laser treatments or flying out of the country please discuss this prior to receiving dermal fillers.

Fillers in general are meant to last approximately six months to a year depending on the type of filler, how much is injected and where it is injected. If the filler is in an area of high movement such as the lips it may not last as long.
Botox results last three to four months but gradually wear off during that time. If a low dose was used in a certain area it will wear off quicker.
-
I always recommend waiting two weeks for all treatments to settle. Botox takes two weeks to fully work and during this time there may be some areas that work quicker than others.
After two weeks touchups can be done if required. Injection of fillers will often produce swelling that will also usually resolve on its own and look better by that two week period.
If your filler treatment needs to be removed an enzyme is available in office that will dissolve the filler.

Before your appointment, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil) if possible, as these can increase the risk of bruising.
Arrive with a clean face and let your provider know about any recent medical treatments, dental work, or upcoming travel plans.
Always discuss your goals and any concerns during your consultation to ensure the best results

Most injectable treatments involve minimal downtime.
You may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolve within a few days.
Serious side effects are rare, but it’s important to follow all aftercare instructions and contact your provider if you have any concerns
